Chordia provides a business-to-business software platform that analyzes customer service conversations on behalf of its customers. This Privacy Notice applies to information processed when customers and authorized users access or use the Services.

Information We Process

We may process the following categories of information:

  • Customer-Provided Conversation Data: Audio recordings, transcripts, text, metadata, and related information submitted, uploaded, or streamed to the Services at the direction of customers
  • Account and Contact Information: Names, business email addresses, and contact details associated with user accounts
  • Usage and Technical Data: Log data, IP addresses, device information, and interaction data related to use of the Services
  • Website and Cookie Data: Information collected through cookies and similar technologies used to support basic site functionality, security, and analytics

How We Use Information

We process information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Services
  • Analyze conversations to generate quality, compliance, and customer insights
  • Support system security, reliability, and performance
  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer support
  • Improve and develop the Services in a controlled manner

AI and Automated Processing

The Services use automated processing and artificial intelligence to analyze customer conversations and generate insights. These processes evaluate conversation structure, content, and patterns to support quality monitoring, compliance review, and signal detection.

AI-generated outputs are derived solely from customer-provided data and are intended for decision-support purposes. Customers remain responsible for reviewing outputs and determining appropriate actions.

Data Ownership and Customer Control

Customer-provided data remains the property of the customer. Chordia processes such data solely to provide the Services in accordance with customer instructions and applicable agreements.

Chordia does not use customer data to train models across customers.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We may use cookies and similar technologies to support security, prevent fraud, maintain sessions, save preferences, and enable basic site analytics. These technologies are not used to sell customer data or target advertising based on customer conversation content.

Sharing of Information

We may share information:

  • With service providers and subprocessors that support hosting, infrastructure, and operations
  • To comply with applicable laws, regulations, or lawful requests
  • In connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale

Chordia does not sell personal information or customer conversation data.

International Data Transfers

Information processed through the Services may be transferred to and processed in countries other than where you are located. Where required by applicable law, Chordia takes steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary based on customer configuration, contractual requirements, and applicable law.

Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding access, correction, or deletion of personal information. Requests relating to customer-provided data should generally be directed to the customer that controls the data.

Where appropriate, Chordia may assist customers in responding to verified requests.

Children’s Information

The Services are not directed to children, and Chordia does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age.

Do-Not-Track Signals

There is currently no standardized technology for recognizing or implementing Do-Not-Track signals. Accordingly, the Services do not respond to Do-Not-Track browser settings.

Updates to This Privacy Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Updates will be indicated by an updated effective date.
